Thanks to our 3/8” x 10’ hydraulic shear, getting precise cuts quickly and efficiently is a routine process at Steel House. We are equipped to shear a wide variety of sheets and plates including aluminum and stainless steel using our 1/2” x 10’-0” hydraulic shear. No more jagged edges or uneven cuts; our elite team of fabricators uses their many years of experience to ensure a precise, straight cut at any dimension.
Steel House uses a 3/8” x 10’ hydraulic shear which requires one of our many expert operators to feed the material through an opening in which a high-carbon steel cutting blade is mounted. The operator then takes precise measurements from the edge of the material to the cut path of the high-carbon steel blade to ensure precise, clean cuts (-0/+0.125” each dimensions). At Steel House, we offer in-house Nelson stud welding/shooting, with our stud gun. Some of our competitors can only MIG weld nelson studs, taking 5x longer while not ensuring proper penetration, but Steel House does it the right way. Whether its steel embed plates or embed perimeter angle on a concrete structure, we offer same-day nelson stud welding to all our customers. We stock Nelson studs of all sizes, so no job is too big or too small.
At Steel House, we offer quick turn-around CNC plasma cutting for your most precise or detailed cuts. Our CNC plasma machine has capabilities of penetrating a wide variety of materials and thicknesses with pinpoint accuracy, minimizing excess waste. Perfect for custom decorative cut outs, base plates, steel inlays, manufacturing components, and much more! Using an Ironworker machine, our expert fabricators have the ability to notch steel plates, beams, channel and angle quickly and efficiently. Using a small shear-like attachment, our Ironworker can clip steel, even if it’s in the middle of a run. Our Ironworker doubles as a quick and easy way to cut certain steel items such as small angle and flat bar, ensuring a quick turn-around order every time.
At Steel House, we know how important quick lead times can be in keeping a project on schedule so we have designed our fabrication shop to ensure quick turn-around fabrication every time. If you do not have time to wait our saw cutting, then we can torch cut your steel to length in a matter of minutes, letting you get back to your project quicker. Our torch cutting is perfect for our larger 1” and up steel plate.
